For the second year in a row we went with our friends Mike and Nicole, and their baby Julianna to Connecticut. My parents visit Cape Cod (my in-laws) and we get the entire house to ourselves.

Last year we were out on the boat constantly, watched the Danbury fireworks from the boat, watched people jump off rocks and rope swings from the boat, and peed from the boat.

This year my parents got a new boat and it goes FAST. It is a great boat, except it was grey and rainy ALL weekend.

It wasn't all fun and games though, like when Wii Fitness said that Mike was overweight, that my friends, was not fun.

We did get about two hours out on the boat on the 4th. And yes, our babies wore life vests this year, because we like them a little more this year than last.

Mike and Kevin were especially psyched to get a 9am tee time on July 5, thanks to Sherman's last Mayor. Well, they were as psyched as guys like them get.




What we learned on vacation:
Julianna gets car sick and man is it gross. Unfortunately, I wasn't thinking quick enough to get a pic, but I sure wish I did.
