Things that make me go hmmmmmm.........
For example:
The kids in the neighborhood were handing out political signs for John Dougherty yesterday. I took one because I didn't feel like being berated by my neighbor's kid on why I didn't want to put a big ass sign in my window.
Kevin came home from work soon after and saw the sign. His reaction was this, "Sweet! Buddy, do we got tape so I can put up this sign for my man Johnny Doc?"
I am confused but tell him where the tape is.
Fast forward to tonight:
We come home from Lowe's and I'm like, why do we have a John Dougherty sign in our front window? And Kevin's like, because we need to blend in, everyone else has one. I point out that multiple other houses do not have them including the four houses closest to us. Then Kevin tries to tell me that because they don't have the signs their car tires will be slashed. Hmmmm, interesting thought, but I'm not sure it's true.
So, I push a little further.
"Do you know who John Dougherty is?" Response: "Yeah, my man."
"Do you know what he is running for?" Response: "Yeah, President." (In a sarcastic tone.)
So now we have a big blue sign in our pretty front window that states that we support John Dougherty even though:
1. we don't know who he is
2. we don't know what his stances are on "the hot button issues"
3. we don't know what he's running for (although, I'm sure the sign will tell me if I choose to read it.)
4. at this moment in time we are unable to vote in the Primaries because we are registered independents.

Don't rock the boat Karen. It's all about fitting in and tires are very expensive.
The City of Brotherly love. That's what it's all about. LOL
Oops! I probably shouldn't identify myself, but that was me.
I'm dying to know. Who is John Dougherty?
I got one of those things in the mail today too. but I don't know who he is either.
