GET THIS:
Got my Apple iBook back Tuesday night was using it last night, hard drive crashed AGAIN! This is the second hard drive in TWO weeks! I called AppleCare today and was told that I could mail it in to them or visit the Apple Store AGAIN to have them "fix" it AGAIN. I said I want to mail it in then they say THIS: "Just to let you know, you will be without your computer for at least A MONTH!" I was like WHAT............ Forget it, I'll bring it back to the stupid shitty store that can't fix it. Screw this.

I guess I'll just spend $2k on a computer and send my broken one back to Apple and when it actually gets fixed I'll freakin' sell it.

Don't these people know that I have an internet addiction and I CAN'T and WON'T be without a computer for a freakin' month?

Apple customer service USED to be great and NOW it apparently SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that sucks... I've also been having problems with my MAC.. Doesn't Kev let you use his laptop?

OKay. Send a copy of this photo to Steve Jobs and explain your situation, in depth. Right down to how many miles it is to the repair facility. Then mail it registered. I can guarantee you that his assistant will contact you by phone. They don't want unhappy customers, especially when they learn that their repair people are messing up. They took real good care of me.
You have nothing to lose.
Now take a deep breath.

I have to LOL at the picture. It is seriously funny. However when you have a severe internet addiction being without your computer for a few hours or a day is HELL let alone days with no end in sight :(

yes they do SUCK! kim has really bad stories from when her hard drive crashed. (she's had 2 crash on her in 2 years) the first story: the store in town had to send it away to the magic apple land where ever they fix it, then that place finally....after a month or so... fixed it but sent it to someONE else!! this is her work computer we're talking about, lots of personal info for clients. lucky for them the person they sent it to was nice enough to send it back, when kim finally got it back, it still didn't work. so they finally sent her a new one, but she had to send back the first one before she got the new one. so she had to wait another 2 weeks. she was out of a work computer over the holidays for about 2 months. what a mess. i know the macs are prettier and cooler... but the pc's can do all the same stuff and don't have those problems.

I used to have an ibook and it also crashed. My apple guy told me there was a flaw with that model. I now have the macbook pro and I love it!!!!!
