Well it certainly was an eventful weekend!

It started on Friday night with the discovery of the graffitti (mentioned in previous post). John (the owner of the house) was notified on Sat morning about the graffitti and it was cleaned up by dark that night.

During the day on Saturday we went to the Mummer's Parade, which usually happens on New Years Day but was rained out. We figured that since I've lived here for 5 years and Kevin almost 9?! we should attend at least one and this was the year. We thought it would be a great cultural event for Mayson to attend!!! Here are some pictures:

If you count the white guy that painted his face red and dressed like a Native American, it was a real cultural event! I hope Mayson learned A LOT!

Saturday night we went to Manayunk to Pottery Barn where I got beautiful $10 - $14 ornaments for about $1 each! Then we came home went to a birthday party for a little girl down the street and then we went to a barbque about a block away at Ben and Sioban's house. Ben works with Kevin and Sioban's name is not phonetic it sounds like this: Sha-von.

On Sunday morning we brought our vacuum to Sears to get it fixed. Good thing we bought that 3 year all inclusive plan because the part we need would cost $70 and the plan only cost about $50! Then we went and looked at the rental house and decided what needed to be done before we sell it.

The Eagles won! It was a great game! I will spare you what happened after the game.
